Suspense Galoreįortunately, another constant is the level of suspense the game creates.
Unfortunately, these few variations don’t mix up the rest of the experience at all. On rare occasions, the game places you in a unique situation where you have to time photos in different ways, which helps a bit. Equally so, the amount of time you use the camera throughout the 12-hour romp proves too repetitive to feel fresh and gratifying the entire time. Lining up five or more focal points feels so gratifying because enemies naturally move around so much. The more focal points you align in your shot, the more damage you inflict on the in-frame targets. Unlike objects, enemies release spirits as you take pictures, and each one acts as another focal point for your picture. Each target, whether it be a ghost or object, has a lock-on point you can focus on by pressing L2. This is a link to the official list but ^ Ward Dragon's wiki link has far more information although like any such list I wouldn't rely on it 100%.Most of the time the camera is your only line of defense against hostile spirits. If you do, go to Xbox-Scene and you'll find there's a very well supported original Xbox/XB360 community who should be able to help you with any problems. As voltz said there is an official list somewhere online so it should be easy enough to find out.įailing that you can still pick up a complete working original Xbox quite easily for £20 - £30 ($30 - $45) often less. I hope I'm wrong for your sake but I'd guess that because FFII was not a mainstream game and the series far more popular in Japan (where the original Xbox failed badly) than the US or UK/EU you're going to be out of luck with the compatibility. I'm fairly sure they were region locked as well so if you have Fatal Frame II, the US NTSC version, rather than PAL Project Zero II Crimson Butterfly you'll have to use a NTSC XB360 to play it. I think there are about 400 original Xbox games which are supposedly XB360 compatible but some had issues which were never patched. I could have confirmed it for you but I've just checked and my PAL Project Zero II Director's Cut copy is still factory sealed and I really don't want to open it until I decide to play it.
